The Big Race Starting on Phase 3, every Halloween monster kill will award you with 1 point towards the Big Halloween Race. Killing a Grim Reaper will award a whooping 150 points. Give him one Carnival Ticket, and he has a high chance of offering you a small amount of Flex Coins. You can choose to risk that amount and attempt to go for a higher amount. The Gambler has a ranking system which will showcase whats the highest amount of tokens each player has won from the NPC. In exchange for a Carnival Ticket, you have a chance to guess how the man died. Are you able to solve the mystery? Or Get a lucky guess? You will be rewarded with a Raffle Ticket. These Raffle Tickets will provide a small chance to win the rarest of headgears in this Halloween Event. The rewards will be announced during Phase 4. The answers are shuffled every single time a player speaks to the NPC. There is also a cool down before a player can guess again. Disguiser NPC Tired of your human form? You can use your Carnival Ticket to be disguised into a monster of your choice, of one of our pre-selected list of monsters. The disguise will last until you relog or use the npc to undisguise yourself. Disguising as a monster may disrupt your farming experience, so it's best to do it when you're not planning on farming. Can you elaborate on the "NO" for bottle grenade, glistening coat, etc... what is the difference between a player buying these from a merchants shop, and them possibly paying extra to buy them from the flex ro market? In both ways they need to farm either zeny or flex coins. As for the buffs, I could consider these to be used outside of pvp, bg, woe and possibly some other maps. I don't see an issue with Assumptio or other buff scrolls to be used for farming or mvping for example.

To be honest, I've always known these items would end up in the Flex Market one way or another.. but have struggled with the pricing, as the economy is still getting its wheels. I would love if other people could chime in on the same 2 points. The items we should add into the Flex Market, as well as a suggested price. Assuming an average value of 2k zeny per flexro coin and the daily limit of 12,000 a day. My recommendation would be: Try to think of what the price of those items were on previous low rates with similar drop rates.. and then divide that by 2,000. That may be a good starting point for these items as Flex Coins. A healthy FlexRO market will benefit the entire server in the long run by stimulating the economy and removing excess zeny.. it's close to 1,000,000,000z burned so far! Thank you for your feedback. I don't believe we should plan our pvp system rewards based on the current state of the server. That is, in terms of populations, and in terms of powerful guilds that could potentially kill the MvPs in question. We should develop it forward looking. If we wait until guilds monopolize the loots, or force people to wait 6 months before they even see one in a shop, then we are already too late. I assume your concern would be, since nobody can kill XY MvP then PvP becomes to more available way to obtain it. My question still is.. is that so bad? The topic should be discussing whether these items should be accessible through PvP or whether they should be locked behind inaccessible MvPs and RNG enchanting ? It is hard to price an item as the rate at which one can earn pvp points will heavily depend on several factors, such as the player's ability to earn points, the amount of people that join pvp at any given time, and the rate at which the server rewards activity. We will never get to a price that equally matches the effort of killing the MvP as that also heavily relies on the day, current rates, bubblegum, duration, ease of kill, and of course, RNG. If a player spent several days, weeks or even months, PvPing several hours a day, should they be allowed to obtain these items or not? and if not, why not? We can discuss individual prices in the future, but we are simply not even there yet.. I still strongly believe that whether we add some of these items or not, people will still need good equipment and a good party to kill those MvPs. My point is, once people have these equips, whether they obtained via PvP or MvP, they will put the equips to use to MvP, possibly unlocking end-game MvPing quicker, which is what we advertise as.. They are not going to just PvP brainlessly 24/7 for items. They will find fun and profitable things to do with those equipment. PvE is not going to die. Ice pick, for example, is not the only item that RSX, LOD, and Eremes drop.. and people know that. They will keep farming those MvPs to get those drops if they can, because, why wouldnt they?

Please note that the purpose of my answer is to discuss the other side of the discussion, that way we can have a more comprehensive discussion. 1. Hard MvP drops should not be on the PvP Rewards/Items not Grindable (Biolap 3, Valkyrie, etc) Why? Think about this one.. Really, why not? Other than "because that's the way it has been" I can't think of any other reason. If that is the case, our rates should be 1x and all our QoL and custom features would be removed.. but that's not the case because we understand there are other ways to enjoy RO. From my experience, most RO players prefer PvM, especially when they don't have equips to compete in PvP or have a big group of friends to support them. That means naturally, most will opt for the PvM route of soloing mvps, or farming zeny to purchase items.. just as they do now without PvP. Keeping these items locked behind hard to reach MvPs, most that are not even killable yet.. means that only the big guilds will be able to obtain them, control the price and possibly be much more powerful than any other player who doesn't have 100M zeny or a big guild to kill those MvPs. On a PK server, that means competing for those drops against players who may have them. Most players will fall under this category.. which means most players will literally never be able to have these items unless they farm zeny for months to pay those who monopolize the drops. Personally, I don't see how this can be good for the long term, especially for a server that aims to offer flexibility and a less grindy experience. 2. People will focus PvP over MvP Honestly, if we were able to accomplish that.. it would be a dream come true not just for me but probably for any other server out there. PvP is dead on almost every server that exists, including officials and large population private servers. People usually prefer the non-confrontational PvM way.. even if it means farming zeny to buy it from merchants. MvP, especially at Flex, is easier.. dual client and instant warp to fields and other custom changes make it easy to solo most. In PvP, a player has to first get decent equipment to even start PvP, that already means progression PvM to get equips and cards. Once they are actually ready to PvP, which may take months, they will need to wait and hope that 1. There is people in pvp to kill to earn points and 2. That they can actually kill. and 3. They need supplies to kill and be in PvP. All PvP does is offer a different way for people to get items that would otherwise be out of reach or monopolized by a few. These would help control prices, making them more affordable to all. In addition, it would be and end-game item to get in PvP. An Ice Pick[1] for example, is not something they would get easily from PvP. Just as you say there are very rare drops in MvP, there should be very hard but worthy items in PvP that people can farm weeks or months to achieve. While they PvP, I'm sure they will also PvM most of the time and still farm MvPs.. You saw the list of items on the shops.. there are probably more than a dozen stuff you'd like to get.. and you haven't considered usables or costumes yet. If they can farm an MvP with a guild and save those pvp points for an item they cannot farm for, they will usually choose to farm those via PvM instead of PvP. 3. Consumables added to the shop/PvP Exclusive Costumes and Auras Although these were not included on the post, we will have pvp exclusive costumes, auras, and of course, consumables 🙂

They would be regular items, which means most would be tradeable. There may be some account bound exceptions somewhere in there. The currency earned to buy the items would be account bound, whatever they buy is tradeable. Of course, there will be dual client, anti farming rules and checks in place. Thank you.
